X-Light and Light bands are great for upper body exercises that require a lighter resistance, as well as for shoulder and hip mobility and core-strengthening exercises. . 

Medium and Heavy bands are ideal for numerous upper body compound movements, including chest and shoulder presses, rows, and curls.  

X-Heavy bands can be used when maximum resistance is needed for “big lifts” like squats and deadlifts, as well as other lower body exercises.
